Ruth Kohler Burke – Of Counsel

Ruth’s practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and estate litigation. Ruth has been involved with the preparation and trial of hundreds of cases, representing Fortune 500 companies, individuals, and fiduciaries. She has extensive experience advising clients in creating estate planning documents to achieve their goals concerning their children, grandchildren, and philanthropy. This unique blend of experience as a litigator and estate planning attorney, provides Ruth with the ability to effectively manage all aspects of family wealth planning.

In 1992, Ruth received a degree in Public Service and Political Science from University of California, Riverside. She graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1995.

Prior to starting her own law firm, Ruth worked as a tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and practiced law at Jackson & Wallace and Barr & Barr Attorneys. She is a member of the California State Bar Association, Contra Costa County Bar Association, and Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley. Outside of work, Ruth has served on the Board of the Moraga Junior Women’s Club, the Board of the Los Perales Elementary PTA. She is currently a member of the State Bar of California, Diablo Valley Estate Planning Council, and Contra Costa County Bar Association.
