Nathan Pastor – Attorney

DSC_5725-EditNathan’s practice concentrates on litigation, particularly cases involving will and trust contests, financial elder abuse, conservatorships, fraud, deceit, and other related claims. Nathan routinely appears for hearings and motions. Nathan conducts all aspects of discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.

Nathan’s past experience includes litigating civil rights claims under the 42 U.S.C. 1983 Act, eviction defense, criminal defense, business litigation, and Copyright Law. Prior to developing his interests in Elder Law, Nathan spent hundreds of hours volunteering in hospitals caring for the elderly.

As a graduate of University of California, Berkeley, Nathan received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in English. He went on to earn his J.D. from Golden Gate University, School of Law. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Laws program in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law at Golden Gate.

During law school, Nathan worked for the Honorable Judge John H. Sugiyama, the presiding probate judge of Contra Costa County, California. Nathan was a regular participant on mock trial teams during law school, and served as a teaching assistant in Evidence and Trial Advocacy. Following law school, Nathan began working for the Morrill Law Firm.
